Weather protection

Teak wood has been used for centuries in shipbuilding because it is naturally weather-protected. Solid teak has natural oils that prevent water damage, mold, and warping.

From forest to table

We source our teak from responsibly managed forests in South America. It is then sent to Vietnam, where it is cut, shaped, and kiln-dried for extra durability. It is left untreated so it lasts longer and can age naturally.

To support responsible wood sourcing and forest management, we use only the highest quality Grade A teak wood from FSC-certified forests.

Remove dirt, debris, and spills as they happen with mild soap, water, and a sponge. Should your furniture get wet due to rainfall, etc., let it air dry completely before covering it. For annual cleaning, we recommend using a teak cleaner. You can also apply a teak protector or sealer for additional protection and restoration.

Absolutely. Teak is a durable hardwood that repels water and is resistant to mold, mildew, and cracking. We designed our teak outdoor sectional to withstand all kinds of weather. Unfinished teak will gradually change colors from honey gold to a silvery gray patina. A protective cover will keep your furniture looking newer, longer.

Teak has natural oils that make it weather-resistant, durable, and low-maintenance. Teak can handle wind, rain, humidity, heat, and cold. Our teak outdoor sectional can last outdoors for a lifetime with the proper care (think 75 years or more!)

Some of the Sunbrella fabrics we use contain up to 93% post-industrial recycled fibers that would otherwise end up in a landfill. The program is zero waste and gives our cushions and rugs a unique character. The fabric is made with solar power and the finished product has subtle flecks of color that tell the story of the life of the yarn.

Our quick-drying foam cushions are engineered for outdoor use. Water and spills will flow through the foam without becoming trapped. This prevents mold and mildew growth and means you can enjoy your outdoor sofa quicker after it rains.

Our cushion inserts are made of outdoor-specific reticulated foam. They are comfortable and firm to sit on and won’t sag or sink over time. Even better, water and liquids pass right through the foam. This prevents mold and mildew.

Comfortable and supportive

The foam we use for our seat cushions is firm, and comfortable. It provides structure and stability to help the cushions maintain their shape, but has enough ‘bounce’ for a midday outdoor nap. Our luxurious recycled fabrics have a natural look but are soft to the touch.
