What is the Warranty Period?
We have a limited 3-year warranty on frames, hardware, cover craftsmanship, and foam. There is a 5-year limited warranty on the Sunbrella® fabric.
About Our ProductsIs the furniture weatherproof?
Yes. Our goal has always been to craft furniture for a long life outside. When building your furniture, we consider every element to ensure longevity.
We use teak because it repels moisture and performs well in extreme weather conditions. It's resistant to most forms of rot, fungi, and pests that typically attack wood. When teak is exposed to the elements for a long period of time, it will change color. Eventually, it will go from honey gold to a unique silver patina.
Our quick drying (and comfortable) foam is reticulated which means it’s very porous, allowing water to move through it quickly. This helps our foam avoid common outdoor problems like mildew and water log.
We chose Sunbrella® fabric because its mildew resistant and uses a resilient solution dyed acrylic. so you won’t have to worry about your cushions fading over time.
Where are Neighbor’s products made?
To make well-crafted products, we knew we needed the best materials. For our furniture frames, we use FSC Certified teak produced in Vietnam. The mildew resistant cushion covers are made from Sunbrella® fabric produced in South Carolina, and the cushions are cut and sewn in southern California.
It gets really hot/cold where I live. Is that a problem?
No matter what time of year, our furniture is crafted to stand up to all weather. From Phoenix heat to Chicago winters, our design allows for natural expanding and contracting due to temperature changes. For any additional questions about teak or our products, reach out to us
About Our CushionsAre your cushion covers removable/washable?
Our covers can be removed and washed by hand or in a machine on a gentle cycle. When washing in a machine, make sure to zip your seat covers shut to prevent fraying on the seams. Air dry.

What are your cushions made from?
We use a high density reticulated foam for our cushions. Reticulated foam is very porous, allowing water to flow right through. The porous quality makes it perfect for the great outdoors (or at least your backyard). We also added some polyester fiber for extra loft and shape.
All of our cushion covers are made from Sunbrella® fabric and can be removed.
About Our TeakWhat type/grade of teak does the product use?
We’re proud to use FSC Certified Grade A teak for all of our products. This means that in addition to being grown sustainably and responsibly, our teak is harvested from logs that are at least twenty years old. In some cases, Grade AB might be used as part of the product's underside which typically is not visible.
Is the teak sealed/treated?
No. Teak’s natural oils repel moisture. Your new teak furniture will come sanded and beautifully unfinished. If you would like to prevent color changes as the teak ages, you can use a sealer cleaner. We highly recommend the products from Golden Care
About SustainabilityIs your teak sustainable?
Absolutely. All of our teak is harvested from FSC-certified forests, meaning our products are harvested from responsibly sourced and sustainable forests. Find out more about the FSC certification process on their website
About Shipping & ReturnsWhat is your return policy?
You have 45 days to decide if our products are the perfect fit. Hold on to your original packaging; If you decide to start a return, it’ll ship back to us in that. You can read our Return Policy for more details.
What does shipping cost?
Shipping is free in the contiguous 48 states (everywhere but AK & HI). For shipping to AK/HI there is a $150 per module fee (i.e. the sofa is 3 modules so shipping fees would be $450).
My product arrived without assembly instructions. Where can I find them? Can you send them to me?
We’re always looking for ways to be environmentally considerate. That’s why all Neighbor products come with digital instructions via a QR code. You’ll find that code on the outside of your frame’s packaging. Don’t like QR codes? No worries. You can find assembly instructions for all of our products online.
