We’re excited to announce the addition of our first outdoor rug and pouf ottoman. Perfect for your outdoor living room, our Braid Rug and Braid Pouf have a hand woven quality and yet are perfect for year-round use outdoors. They are soft underfoot, have rich color, and are made with recycled Sunbrella yarn for best-in-class durability. Here’s everything you need to know about our new accessories:
Your Living Room, Outdoors
Outdoor rugs pull together your outdoor furniture setup so that your space feels more comfortable and lived-in. Placed properly, a rug can define your space and protect your deck or patio from wear and tear. A pouf ottoman adds a similar cozy vibe, but is also a versatile add-on to your lounge or dining space. A pouf like can act as an extra seat, side table, or somewhere to rest your feet after a long day. Since launching our teak Haven outdoor lounge collection, and Dining Set, we’ve wanted to add elevated style accessories so that you can add comfort outside, just like you would in the interior of your house.
About the Design
When designing our rugs and poufs, we were drawn to the style and history of flat braiding. Working with an artisanal partner here in the USA, our rugs and poufs are machine braided using traditional making methods. The braids form a modern line pattern that complements the style of our Haven collection. The lines visually open and expand your space in a way that feels natural.
Our rugs are available in four sizes, and both the rug and pouf have four different color options. The colors we selected which are neutral enough to mix and match with various cushions and pillow colors.
Materials and Care
Both our rugs and poufs are made with Sunbrella solution dyed acrylic yarn that contains 50% post industrial recycled content. Sunbrella yarns make our rugs and poufs durable, fade-proof, and easy to clean. Just like we did for our outdoor cushions, we chose Sunbrella because they are an industry leader for outdoor fibers and fabrics. We love that we can trust our Sunbrella rugs and ottoman to perform expertly outdoors wherever we place them. In addition to durability, the Sunbrella yarn includes recycled content from the cutting room floor at Sunbrella’s zero-waste facility in North Carolina.
