    Frequently Asked Questions

Our flatweave outdoor rugs are hand woven on a loom using traditional kilim weaving techniques. They are slim, low pile, and reversible. Flatweave rugs are best for high-traffic rooms and spill-prone areas like the kitchen, patio, or entryway.

Flatweave rugs are not woven onto a backing, which means they are reversible, lightweight, and easy to care for. Use of a rug pad is recommended to prevent slipping and increase cushioning underfoot.

Flatweave rugs can be made from different materials, like cotton, silk, or wool. Neighbor outdoor rugs are made from 100% recycled polyester, also known as PET.
